Shri Swami Rama Foundation Trust
The Swami Rama Foundation Trust (SRFT) Regd, is situated on 45 acres land with a spectacular view of the Shivalik mountain range in village Bhurewala, Tehsil Naraingarh, Dist Ambala, Haryana.
SRFT is dedicated to the upliftment of the rural underprivileged youth by providing affordable value-based education and vocational skills.
Sri Swami Rama Foundation Trust is a non-profit Voluntary organisation working since 2004 for promotion of basic education, health, environment, vocational training and income generation for the socioeconomically deprived people living in the rural, inaccessible areas of the state of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
The original funds for this project were raised from private individual donors across the world through the personal efforts of the Founder, Dr. V. Anand Swami. It covers 15 (fifteen) panchayats in Ambala and Panchkula district near the Shivalik mountain range. More than 50% of these panchayats are inhabited by Scheduled Castes and other backward castes with poor socio economic background. The project has five activity components- primary, elementary and middle school education, health service and health education, income generation for youth and women, environment and sustainable rural development.
The aim of the Society is to work towards the welfare and upliftment of deprived and marginalised sections of Society (especially rural area) through Education, Health Care, Vocational Training, Skill Development and Integrated and Sustainable Rural Development.
Swami Rama Foundation Trust (SRFT) Regd, is situated on 45 acres land in village Bhurewala, Tehsil Naraingarh, Dist. Ambala, Haryana – 45 Kms. each from Ambala City and Panchkula Towns. SRFT has good infrastructure with two large buildings of approx. 20,000 sq. ft. built up space. The socio-economic condition of the villages surrounding the Institution is extremely poor.
